Indian Animation Market Stratagies
Animation is regarded as an essential part of the creative industry, as creative or artistic effort is extensively required in the development process of animation. The animation industry in India today has emerged as the fastest growing section of the entertainment and media industry. This section has tremendous potential in creating jobs through the exploitation of intellectual property. The industry is preferred as an outsourced destination for animation work and has gained significance due to cheaper cost, skilled labour and English speaking manpower, are few among its several advantages. The animation companies and animation studios in India are partnering with international studios to develop animated projects for the audience all across the globe.
India, as Animation Hub
Today India's being the biggest hub for outsourcing animation work, is expected to grow in domestic entertainment industry as well in coming days. The 2008 report on the entertainment and media industry by Ficci-PwC Entertainment and Media estimated the Indian animation industry at USD 0.31 billion in 2007, which is forecast to grow at CAGR of 24 percent and reach USD 0.94 billion by 2012.
The potential platforms for animation include online education and industry specific applications like medical, legal, insurance, architecture, etc. As a matter of fact, Indian studios do not cater to the needs of these areas but are opened with the opportunities in segments like TV programs and feature films with skills in 2D and 3D animation.
India is gradually transforming itself as a supreme provider of animation production services for following strengths and edge in the market:
• Availability of English speaking manpower.
• Presence of several well equipped animation studios.
• Low cost of animation services.
• Heritage of traditional literature.
• India's vast entertainment sector.
Indian Animation Market
Until the animation studios made its appearance in India in the second half of the 90s, the Indian animation market was more or less static. The development of more serious activity of the industry began in earnest on this front after the export-oriented outlook came into existence. The multiple players present in the Indian animation market providing it an identity and diverse characteristic. Some of these big players include Films Division Maya Entertainment, Penda media Graphics, Acropetal, Silvertoon Studio, Zee Institute of Creative Arts (ZICA), Crest Communications, Moving Pictures, Toonz Animation India, etc. The companies are situated mainly across cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore
.
According to a recent NASSCOM study, the animation industry in India has begun taking shape where technical manpower, increasing demand from Indian television, establishment of more animation studios and training centres at domestic level and low cost animation production are included. The usage of animation has gradually increased in various end user segments such as advertisements/commercials, feature films, TV programs, and computer/omline games, where animation solutions have found a place in niches such as special effects, film titling, TV broadcast graphics, 3D modeling, Web entertainment programs and background development.

World Animation
Animation is an interesting and a challenging field that deals with virtual reality. It is a field that gives hyper real experience of day to day objects. It involves constant innovations and cutting edge technologies to show virtual characters real. It is a medium through which you can convert your ideas and imagination into virtual reality. It makes the text interactive, attractive and appealing to the eye by highlighting the message. It casts an ever lasting impression on viewer's mind and they will remember it for a long time to come.
Animation is based on the phenomenon of persistence of vision to create an illusion of the movement by the rapid display of sequence of images in 2D or 3D artworks. In simple terms, it creates a false conception of things though technological tricks. This illusion is created by replacing the series of old images with new one that are identical to previous one. 3D artwork is more dynamic and vibrant as compared to 2D artwork because it has an extra dimension. In other words, if you draw character on paper then it will show only front part of the character not its back but in 3D animation you can see your object or character from all directions. Nowadays lots of animation tools and techniques are available that can help you in understanding the concepts of this field. You can find them easily on the Internet.
It has applications in every field like entertainment industry is greatly benefited by it. It is a cost effective tool for them. They can create mind boggling scenes with ease and without loosing big bucks. Even in pilot training institutes, trainees can test their skills on simulators that were developed by the principles of animation. It can also be used in educating small kids in schools as they easily associate with their cartoon characters. Animation can be used in making network sites more beautiful and interactive. It can also be used effectively in online business. Entrepreneurs use animation for their websites, blogs and other such networking sites to promote their businesses. Animation has its great future ahead as this field is yet to tap its true potential with the development in technology.

About 2D and 3D animation
Animation is a field of art or science that has the capability to impart life and zeal to non living characters. Basically it is based on the phenomenon of persistence of vision that allows the visual illusion of the objects. It is a phenomenon of an eye in which an image continues to appear in one's vision after the exposure to the original image has ceased. This happens for about one twenty-fifth of a second. In early days animation was restricted to only hand drawings. But with the advent of technological know how animation has got a new face that is known as two dimensional and three dimensional animations. A three dimensional animation is far better than two dimensional. It adds more vigor and vivacity to animation.
Animation is simulation of movement created by a series of pictures or frames. It starts with drawing independent pictures and putting them together in a frame to form the illusion of continuous motion. Two dimension means that the picture is drawn with help of two coordinates of geometry. These are designated as x (horizontal) coordinate and y (vertical) coordinate. 2D is flat which means that if a picture is turned to the side then it becomes a line. Whereas 3D includes an extra dimension known as z coordinate which stands for rotation and depth. The basic difference between 2d and 3d can be illustrated by drawing a rectangle and a cube. Rectangle is a 2D figure whereas cube is a 3D figure. 3D presents the object from every possible direction like in real life. 2D bitmap or vector graphics are used to create 2D animation figures.
Various techniques that are used in creating 2D figures are morphing, twining, onion skinning and interpolated rot scoping. Whereas 3D animation involves digital modeling of characters. Various steps that are involved in 3D animation are character sketching, character modeling, scene building, textured, lightening and camera setup, rendering, lightening and camera setup, rendering, editing and mixing etc. Other techniques that can be applied are the use of mathematical functions, simulated fur or hair and the use of motion capture. In this way we can extract greater use of multimedia through 2D and 3D animation.

Best animation films in 2009
In early 2010 The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences will again award one animated film the best picture of the year. The category has only existed since 2001 and is awarded only if there are at least eight animated feature films released in that year. In past years this competition has been dominated by one film company, Pixie. Will 2010 be the same? Lets look at this years main contenders for Best Animated Film.
Up
Why not start with Pix. In the last years their films have dominated this category and there have been rumblings that some of their films should in fact compete with life action films for Best Picture of the year. Their films are that good. Winners in the past few years have included The Incredible s, Finding Nome and Wall-E.
This year, their film Up has garnered the highest praise from critics being called the best animated film since, well...since Wall-e. An old widower sets out to achieve his wife's lifelong dreams by floating his house with thousands of balloons and travelling to South America.
Ponyo
Hayao Miyazaki is one of the greatest and most successful film makers in Japan's history. Like Pixar, Miyazaki's movies are constantly on lists for the best films of the year, each and every year and if you come across a list of the top 10 animated films of all time chances are there will be more than one of his films represented. Miyazaki has won only once before in this category for the masterpiece, Spirited Away. This year his retelling of Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Mermaid garnered praise from all circles, even if not quite living up to his previous best.
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
Adapted from a children book with the same bizarre name this film is about honouring the strange and unique facets of humanity and how human ingenuity has the opportunity to solve seemingly impossible problems. At least that's my take on it. Also a lot of big food falls from the sky. Highly regarded by most critics the film was produced by Sony Pictures Animation who have had previous nominees including Surf's Up.
Coraline
Adapted from a book by Neil Gaiman this is a stop motion animated film produced by Laika films and directed by Henry Selick. Coraline is the story of a young girl who discovers an alternate reality where she finds another set of parents who at first seem to be everything she has ever wished for. As this is a rather gothic dark piece you can imagine things don't stay that way. The film was highly regarded by critics not only for its story but the beauty of the animation technique.
Princess And The Frog
Surely this will be the academy's sentimental favorite. Disney Animation Studio's first 2D animated film in six years and their first since amalgamating with Pixie, garnered praise from critics worldwide. A twist on the traditional tale where a young princess kisses a frog who turns out to be a prince under a curse, this film is notable as its protagonist, Tina, is Disney first African-American princess character. Given the studio's salient place in animation they have never won the Oscar for best animated film.

very good Way to Share Travel Photos
You don't have to be very old to remember the days when sharing photographs meant placing them in albums and bringing them from place to place. Back before the Internet, you could either share them that way or regale friends and family with long photo slide productions at various gatherings - in many cases, boring everyone to tears. Thanks to the Internet and digital photography, though, things are a whole lot different now. Sharing your travel photos is far less invasive - and far more enjoyable - than it's ever been. By learning a few tricks of the travel photo sharing trade, you can make showing off your photographs a fun experience for everyone.
Invest In A Good Digital Camera And Memory Card
If you haven't already joined the digital photography revolution, now's the time. After all, you won't be able to share your travel photos online very easily without a digital camera. Scanning old fashioned photos into the computer is time consuming and boring - and the pictures never turn out very well. Digital cameras are very affordable these days; you can easily find a decent model for $100 to $200. Look for a reputable brand, and for a camera that can withstand a bit of abuse.
Most digital cameras come with very small memory cards; you'll want to pay a little extra and invest in a larger-capacity card right away. It will cost you a bit more, but by purchasing an 8GB memory card you'll be able to store more than 1,000 high-quality photographs at a time. This comes quite in handy when you're traveling, since you won't have a lot of extra time to constantly download your pictures from your card. Instead, you can go through your photos and upload them all in one fell swoop - it couldn't be easier!
Sign Up With A Photo Sharing Website
Although you'll want to keep copies of your travel photos on your computer's hard drive - or perhaps on another kind of drive - the quickest, easiest way to share them is by signing up with a photo sharing website. Some email providers, like Google, offer a limited amount of photo storage space; you can then email copies of your photos whenever you'd like. Otherwise, websites like Flickr are great options. Their free photo uploading service is fine, but for just $25 a year you gain access to unlimited uploads and other great perks.
Once you've signed up with a photo sharing site, make it a habit to upload your photos to it on a regular basis. In many cases, you can send your photos directly from your camera's memory card to the photo sharing site, skipping the step of copying them to your computer's hard drive. Once uploaded, be conscientious about tagging your photos - i.e., the people and/or landmarks in them - and adding descriptions wherever possible. Most photo sharing sites automatically detect the time and date that a photo was taking, making it easy to keep things organized in a chronological manner.
Send Links To Your Friends And Family
As soon as you have your latest batch of travel photos uploaded to your photo sharing account, with proper descriptions and tags, you'll be able to send a link to all of the friends and family members you want to share them with. This is vastly preferable than emailing huge attachments to people, which can take a long time and waste a lot of hard disk space. By sending them a link, you invite people to take a look at your travel photos at their own convenience; they can flip through the ones that interest them, and never have to leave their home!
Social Networking Sites Make Sharing Easy
One final note: you can also easily share your travel photos on many popular social networking sites. By joining a site like Facebook, you can quickly upload the photographs you want to share with the people on your friends list so they can enjoy them. Otherwise, you can send out a link to your photo sharing website to everyone on your friend's list, making them aware of your latest batch of travel photos so they can check them out.

How to Eearn Big Money from Wedding Photography
The first thing you will need to do is to build up a portfolio to show potential clients. Unlike some other areas of professional photography, the bride and groom are not going to be the slightest bit impressed by images of anything other than weddings. Lighting techniques and artistic flair will mean very little to them of there is not a smiling couple featured in the shot.
There are two possible solutions to this dilemma. The first is to find associates, friends and relatives who are getting married and ask if you can shoot their weddings for them. Offering to do it at cost may convince them to give you a try. Be sure to get their permission to use some of the images in your portfolio or all the work will have been for nothing.
If that doesn't work or just to get some additional shots to show off your style, you can hold a mock wedding. If you want to go this route, be prepared that it will take quite a bit of work to make it appear as if it is a real wedding. Most brides and grooms will want to see not only the posed shots in your portfolio but also the candid shots of before and after the ceremony, including the reception. If possible, try to get together with other new wedding photographers on this project. That way all of you can improve your portfolios while sharing the cost of the mock wedding.
Now that you have a portfolio, you need to find a way to get your name out. These days the most effective way to do this is the internet. These days when someone begins to research anything, they start with the internet, so that is where you want to be.Before setting up your site, spend some time studying other sites. Take the aspects you find most appealing from those sites and combine them to create a site that is likely to hold a brides attention for more than a few seconds. Be sure to include great shots on the first page, if you don't hook them there, they will not look any further.
To be truly successful, you will also want to have a basic understanding of how the internet's search engines work. There are many tricks to getting your site placed high in a list of search results. If you are too far down the list, it is unlikely that you will get any attention. This search engine optimization (SEO) is an essential part of any successful online business and you will want to understand and use it.
Through all of this, never forget that it is the images that people see that will ultimately determine the success or failure of your wedding photography business. Make sure that every shot you take is high quality and do whatever it takes to make your clients happy. If the new couple is not pleased with your efforts, they are not going to suggest that their friends use you. Word of mouth is still a very important form of advertising and if what is being said about your business is not complementary than all of your other efforts will mean nothing.
